Member Status
SINGLE - Member only, no dependents
COUPLE - Member plus one dependent, applicable to heterosexual and same-sex couples, as well as, single parents with one child

Life Insurance, Dependent Life &Critical Illness Protection
Base Protection, offering a minimum of $25,000 in life insurance coverage for members. For individuals with spouses and dependents, the plan also includes life insurance and critical illness coverage. Furthermore, Telemedicine services are accessible to both members and their dependents. This feature provides unlimited confidential health consultations available 24/7, 365 days a year, covering medical advice, treatment options, prescriptions, lab work, specialist referrals, and more.

For many self-employed individuals, disability insurance is essential. The Health-Connection plan allows you to include both Short and Long Term Disability coverage in your health plan.

24/7/365Prescription Medication
Reimbursement will be provided for the cost of the lowest-priced equivalent medication, in accordance with specific provincial regulations, unless your medical or dental practitioner specifies in writing that no substitutions of the prescribed drug or medicine are allowed. This includes an annual maximum coverage of $5,000 per person for medications on all Health-Connection plans.
Dental
Health-Connection dental insurance offers a comprehensive range of services, including a complete series of x-rays, routine examinations, and coverage for dental accidents, among others. Each plan specifies a maximum benefit limit per covered individual. Additionally, selected plans also offer major dental and feature orthodontic coverage for children under the age of 19
Medical Practitioners
Practitioners part of the Health-Connection plan include the following: Acupuncturist, Chiropractor, Chiropodist/Podiatrist, Dietitian, Naturopath, Osteopath, Physiotherapist, Psychologist, Counselor, Psychotherapist, Master of Social Work, Registered Massage Therapist, and Speech Therapist.
Vision Care
Every plan includes comprehensive eye exams. Additionally, some plans offer coverage for eyewear and contact lenses.
Travel
Coverage of 90 days for each individual per trip, with a limit of $5,000,000 per person per trip, available 24/7 throughout year. Includes trip cancellation/interruption coverage per person and baggage protection.
